Taipei, Taiwan – TMY Technology Inc. (TMYTEK), a pioneering provider of millimeter-wave (mmWave) solutions, has announced the successful securing of US$25M Series B+ funding, and bringing the total Series B funding to US$40 million. This funding round was strategically led by Amazing Microelectronic Corp. (6411.TWO) and EZconn Corporation (6442.TW), with strong support from CDIB Capital Group. The investment not only highlights TMYTEK's market leadership in mmWave technology but also provides a significant boost for its international expansion and product development.

Expanding mmWave Applications with Industry-Leading Technologies

As mmWave technology gains traction across a wide range of applications—including 5G/6G communication networks, satellite communication, automotive radar, defense systems, and smart city infrastructure—TMYTEK’s advanced phased array antenna modules and subsystems have become critical enablers. These solutions combine leading-edge antenna designs with integrated algorithms to enhance signal transmission efficiency and stability, overcoming the challenges of traditional antenna technology.

“This year marks a decade of innovation at TMYTEK,” said Su-Wei Chang, Founder and President of TMYTEK. “Our journey from a responsive problem-solver to a trusted technology partner reflects our dedication to mmWave excellence. Today, clients involve us at the earliest stages of their projects to define specifications collaboratively. Looking ahead, we will deepen our presence in Japan, Europe, and North America by working closely with global system integrators and leveraging Taiwan’s agile supply chain to showcase world-class design and integration capabilities.”

Funding Fuels Globalization and Technology Upgrades

TMYTEK’s global strategy has yielded impressive results, with clients spanning the Middle East, Japan, and Western markets. This funding will primarily be used to enhance R&D capabilities, expand international markets, and scale production. A significant focus will be placed on optimizing mmWave phased array antenna modules to meet growing demands for high-performance, highly stable products. Additionally, TMYTEK is preparing to list on Taiwan’s Public Stock Market in 2025, further solidifying its brand image and customer trust through the capital market.

Amazing Microelectronic Corp. Founder Dr. Ryan (Hsin-Chin) Jiang commented, "We have observed TMYTEK’s technological advancements over the years, witnessing its maturity and market leadership. This investment reflects the high-growth potential of mmWave technology over the next 2–3 years, and we anticipate mutually beneficial collaborations, particularly in ESD IC and phased array module efficiency." EZconn Corporation President and CEO Tina Chang added, "TMYTEK’s early entry into the research market has given it a leading edge in mmWave innovation and a remarkable competitive advantage."

Sustainable Development and Innovation for a Global Vision

In addition to breakthroughs in technology and market presence, TMYTEK is committed to sustainability, focusing on reducing energy consumption in mmWave modules to add societal value to smart cities and IoT applications. From its beginnings in the research and education market, TMYTEK has grown to become a leader in the mmWave domain. Looking ahead, TMYTEK will continue its core mission of technological innovation, partnering with international collaborators and leveraging Taiwan's supply chain strengths to realize its vision of “Designed in Taiwan, Achieved Globally.”
